KARDAMA log Villas

The project consists the construction of 5 wooden log villas 2-3 storeys in the Kardama village in the Troodos area. Due to the nature of the uneven levels of the site, we designed retaining walls with height up to 7m in order to stabilise the soil and to allow the construction of the major villas at the upper levels of the site. The design and check of structural timber frame and connections has also provided significant challenges due to the unusual shape of the timber sections
